Game Play: If you are looking for laptop notebook computers that are strictly for game play you are going to need one with a great graphics card and a lot of memory to store games.  These computers are generally more expensive and come with many different options as well.

Notebooks for Students: If you are looking to buy a computer for someone heading off to school, you’ll want a laptop that is light weight yet durable.  You also want to look and see which computers have software already plugged in so you won’t have to pay an arm and leg for more software.  Microsoft Office and internet browsing capabilities will be a must for students.

Networking: Most laptop notebook computers come standard with a 56Kbps modem and a built in 10/100 Ethernet card.  This will allow you to connect to the internet where wireless internet is available.  Other options for networking include the capability to connect to wireless printer, PDA devices, and other home computers that are also on a connecting network.
